Protektzia is quite useful - for those who have it.
That is because Israel is justifiably perceived as one big buddy system, in which some of the Haves help some of the Have Nots.
That perception is not entirely accurate, but this section will evaluate the advantages to knowing the right Israelis in the right places.
After all, there's nothing wrong with helping your friends. It's much better than the situation in certain other countries, in which nobody wants to get involved.
