Nobody should try to convince you to move to Israel. If somebody does try to convince you to take an unwanted step, then do all you can to resist their arguments. You are entitled to make your own decisions in life, and to do what is best for yourself.
Israel is intended for the privileged few. It's not for everybody.
Today, many people call themselves Zionists (whatever that means) while living in the Diaspora. They may need to displace their feelings, in order to remove the finger that they feel is pointed at themselves.
These people may also feel the need to assuage their consciences or yetzer hara by planning periodical trips in order to visit or to show their support for Israel. Although we appreciate these gestures, let's keep them in perspective.
Let's not call them pleasure trips.
They are guilt trips.
