There are various security requirements regarding packages that you bring to Israel, especially if you do not know the recipient personally. It would be wise to ask the appropriate authorities about the constantly-changing regulations regarding packages. Items are restricted for various reasons:
People may ask you to bring items that are taxed in Israel. In some cases, they may want to avoid paying the heavy Israeli taxes. Other people may want to benefit from a product that is not available in Israel, even if they have to pay the taxes.
In some other cases, there may be restrictions about removing certain encryption products and proprietary items from another country.
Do check the regulations regarding these items before considering the option of bringing them to Israel.
