Don't be disappointed if you are deprived of instant fame, glory, and wealth. Although you may have thought that Israelis would be thrilled with your wonderful, brilliant idea, they may have other things on their minds. They are not likely to worship or praise you - or even to give you the recognition that you feel you deserve. After all, the country has been surviving (more or less) without your idea ever since its inception.

However, you had various reasons for coming to Israel. One reason may have been a desire to help the nascent country develop. Your new service or idea will help you make your mark in Israel, after which you are likely to be recognized and appreciated for your efforts.

But it won�t be easy.

You will have to speak to the right officials in the right bureaucratic offices. You may have to develop the necessary connections in order to get the requisite permits. Those permits may not yet exist on the books.

Yes, it may indeed be a challenge.

However, after you have successfully achieved your goal, you will have made a difference that is worth the effort. That should be your greatest incentive.
