Most of my life was spent in Israel. The first 27 years of my life, the formative years, were indeed spent in the United States in various locations. However, I was always attracted to Israel for religious, historical, and other reasons. I felt that it was the place where I belonged and I was very happy to say that this was correct.
I can understand the people from other countries who have their hesitations, doubts, and questions about the viability or the correctness of the State of Israel or of the actions that it takes and I therefore wrote a series of articles having both sides in mind in order to be able to express my point of view in these issues. As with most other issues my point of view is different from that which may be expected by many people.
One thing that is one aspect that is markedly missing from any of these articles about Israel is any reference to politics. I have no connection with politics. I want to have no connection with politics and you will not find a justification for the right or left. You might find a condemnation of either or both of them but never support of them.

One of the purposes of this website is to prevent you from making silly mistakes. A lot of people listen to lots of advice from lots of people and as a result they are confused. They don't know what to do. Others listen to silly jingles or pollyanna statements about how wonderful Israel is and why they should be there, and then they are hit with the stark reality of life, the real world. We want to make sure that you don't fall into that category. Yes, go ahead and listen to what everybody says, but then at the end of the day make sure that you also add one more ingredient: think. Think if all of this is appropriate. Think if it's going to be the right thing to do. Think if it's the best way for you to go about what you are going to be doing.
