Various word processing professionals, including writers or translators, may have to insert a lengthy phrase into their document on repeated occasions.
Whether it's a single line or a paragraph, wouldn't it be nice to make that little "scrap" available to pop into any part of the document?
Here's how it can be done:
Edit the scrap so that it is your best work. That will reduce the number of changes or corrections that you will have to make later.
Arrange your screen so that you can see both the desktop and the word processor. Select the phrase to be saved, and drag it with your mouse to the desktop. The resulting icon certainly does look like a scrap.
To insert this scrap into your document, drag it into the place in your document. When you release your mouse button, it will be inserted at that location.
