When you open open a book that had been opened before, you often find that it opens to the last page that you had read.
Word helps you do the same thing with its bookmarks. There are several forms of bookmarks:
Control-shift-F5
Goto control G
Shift F5 goes to previous location on the page
Here's the procedure for standard bookmarks:
Click the insertion point where you'd like the bookmark to go. Select Insert, Bookmark. In the Bookmark dialog box, click in the Bookmark Name box and type a descriptive name for your bookmark. Make it something that you'll be sure to remember. Click Add.
Large documents are sometimes difficult to maneuver. Word offers the option to mark important sections with a bookmark.
Make a new bookmark at the position of the cursor by clicking Insert, Bookmark. Enter the Bookmark Name in the dialogue box, a description, and click Add.
You can set up as many bookmarks as you like in each document.
To move to a Bookmarked location, click Insert, Bookmark and double-click the Bookmark name in the list.
