Limitations with Two Computers

Problems with two computers

Be aware of the limitations faced by working with two computers:

You will have files on both computers. You will have to organize and synchronize the files on both computer.

Your best option is to stipulate one computer as the main computer. All the files should remain there. That computer should be backed up frequently.

If your two computers are networked you can work from the files in the hard drive of one computer.

If they are not networked then you may have to physically move new files on a regular basis from the secondary computer to the primary computer.

This extra burden is minimal compared to the major advantages and benefits of having two computers.
