Using graphics and visual aids
Part 1

Teachers love to use visual aids although they don't necessarily like to prepare them themselves. For some reason visual aids preparation is an important topic in teacher training academies but their ultimate value for the teacher is questionable.

This does not mean that teachers should not use visual aids. It means that the teachers themselves should not necessarily be the ones to prepare these aids. They should be prepared by skilled professionals who are able to maximize the use of these products and then the teachers should be given the completed professional tools to maximize with their students.

There are various types of visual aids and presentations. They may be cardboard or laminated cardboard or oak tag or flip charts or fliers.

They�re useful in most learning environments because they, like presentations, attract attention and present the right points you want to stress.

These visual aids can help you add pictures which could be symbols or symbols to your presentation. The colors can create concepts that are difficult to portray because they are not fixed, concepts such as thoughts or feelings or ideas. The visual aids are also good for presenting a series of information or various series such as facts or events or sequences. They can also be used for time lines and the graphics could illustrate the various stages along different levels of the time line.

You can present an agenda for a meeting by using graphics and thereby keep everything on track and everybody can see the different aspects and different points at a glance.

With these visual aids such as a presentation interruptions which used to be frowned upon are now welcomed. You can have people interrupt or ask questions about anything that they wanted in the middle of your presentation. There is never a problem getting back on track because you can always come right back to where you were. The presentation remains on the screen. The flip chart remains open to the right page; and you are in the middle of pointing to the appropriate graphic after possibly crossing off the previous elements. These are magnificent teaching aids and they are the modern way to not just to present concepts or ideas at a meeting among professionals but also the way to teach people of any age.
