Sorry, there won't be any updates on weekends.  Geez, you have to give me time to rest and create those other pages for my website.  Expect an update on Monday though.  Thanks for checking back in.  And keep on coming back!

Taxes.

So I hear we are getting a tax refund eh?  How many of us actually look at our pay stub and figure out how much taxes we pay for our own wages and income?  How many of us actually know how much taxes we pay altogether?  That is income taxes, social security taxes, land taxes, county taxes, state taxes, cigarette taxes, beer tax, import taxes, export taxes, and you name it, there is a tax for it.   So why was the Democrats so against this since in the long run it will help them out?  And is Bush actually telling the truth that help is on the way?  What is all about this tax cut and how will you benefit?  It is true people.  We are getting a refund and some of our own money back.  There are other things like the death penalty tax that will be phased out in 10 years.  Penalty for Death?  Like it wasn't already a devastating thing to happen, death, you had to pay for it?  Anyway, that is for another day.  But most of these programs will be phased out in 10 years, such as the marriage tax and so on.  However, they will be fully reinstated to their percentage as they are this year, after those 10 years have gone by.  The Democrats should be all too willing to pass this tax cut.  There were probably thinking,  "We'll put this stipulation in there so that when we take control of the Senate, the House, and the Presidency in 2004, we can block the Bush tax relief and put in our own numbers."  People, this is all too typical of your Democratic party.  They have already tried to block these checks (remember they have control of the Senate.)  In my opinion, the tax cut is way too small.  We should let hardworking Americans keep the money that they worked for...every penny.  However we have Government entitlement programs that we pay for (out of our pockets) to fund and we never see a dime back.  For example, the welfare program is one of those programs that the Government takes a bit of what you make, and gives it to somebody that is "less fortunate."  The socialists want you to think that those people that have wealth have "luck."  They don't want you to know that hard work and making ends meet equals success.  For those of you mathematically inclined:  (Hard Work + Making Ends Meet = Success).  The Democrats want you to be more dependent on the Government!!!  But that is another subject to address in the future.

Tax breakdown (In terms of an honest day of work.)

The Tax Foundation study offered the following breakdown of how many days Americans will have to work in 2001 to meet various tax obligations:

--
50 days to pay individual income taxes.
--
29 days will be spent working to pay payroll taxes.
--
16 days of work to pay ``hidden taxes'' such as sales and excise taxes that drive up the cost of nearly all goods and services.
--
10 days will be spent working to pay property taxes.
--
12 days of work to pay their share of corporate income taxes, which are collected from companies but ultimately paid by consumers, employees and shareholders.
-- Finally,
5 days working to pay other business and miscellaneous taxes.

Why Politics?

I have received many emails questioning why I have chosen politics as the theme of my website?  Well, here is the reason.  IT AFFECTS US.  If I am suppose to be the "future" of America, how am I going to do it if I don't know what the people want and the topics and issues that I will have to deal with in the future.  If you don't know who to vote for and how that person believes he should take our country then you should just move to some Communist country where they can make all the decisions for you.  As Americans we are the only ones that can choose our destiny and fate, don't let the politicians do it for you!  And if you think that the system is bad already, then you MUST either fight the system through the ballot box or move somewhere else.  People...our nation stands for FREEDOM.  Every day the politicians try to take away some of your freedom in place of security, no matter if it is the Republicans or the Democrats.  Which would you rather have?  If you would like to know where you stand, go and take the World's Smallest Political Quiz.  Please tell me what you get on the test by signing the newly Guestbook!  This isn't the only page I'll be maintaining.  I will have other pages also.  Those of you who know me should know that I will have a MATH page and a newly ENGINEERING page.  Just keep on checking back!  If you really need to talk to somebody about my change to politics email Justin.  He saw it right before his very own eyes.

Taxation.

I was going to really talk about taxation today.  But, I think it is best to leave it alone and talk about it tomorrow.  Before I talk about it I want to send you this form that is for those "Bed-wetting Liberals" that DO NOT want their money back that the Government has wrongly taken from our wages.  If you are against the tax cut please take the time to fill this form out!  Heck I'll even send it for you.

Card Carrying Libertarian.

WooHoo!  I just got Voter's Registration Card and you know what it says?  LIBERTARIAN People I urge you to do more research as I did about the Libertarian Party.  We are the Party of Principle.  So what are we?  Conservative or Liberal?  We are none of those.  We are Libertarian.  You want to know more about the Libertarian PartyAsk me or visit their website at http://www.lp.org.

Do you want Socialized Healthcare?

We are very close people.  VERY CLOSE.  The Patients' Bill of Rights is being debated on the senate floor and who wouldn't want a Patient's Bill of Rights?  We are all entitled to our losses if something goes wrong or there is form malpractice by the doctor.  But that is not what the Senate is debating.  We are talking about by how much can we sue for and get for damages.  As it is right now the Republicans want a $500,000 cap on the amount of any additional award.  That means $500,000 on top of out-of-pocket fees and lost wages.  And how much do the Democrats want to cap the award money at?  5 MILLION dollars!!!  Okay people.  Quit your jobs, forget the lottery, go out and sue a doctor.  Hell you can get $5,000,000 for it if the Democrats have it their way.  And you know what the Republicans claim?  "If the Democrats have it their way it would cause chaos to the medical system."  No Shit!  What is going to happen when this chaos breaks out?  The people will cry, "Oh, Please take care of our Healthcare system.  It is in turmoil."  And you know what?  The Socialist Democrats are all too happy to take a little bit more money out of your pockets through taxes to fund their Socialized Healthcare program.

Don't even get me started on President George W. Bush today.
