Book Review of Watership Down

"Watership Down is a remmarkable tale about a group of adventurers who desert their doomed city in order to insure a safer life, a sturdier future" -THE NEW YORK TIMES

If you read that on the back of a book, what would you think that book would be about? what if there was a picture of a rabbit on the front cover? This may sound strange to you, but I thought this book would be a sci-fi about a city of humans who experience the world ending when their city is destroyed by nuclear war. does that sound like an interesting story to you? It sounded very interesting to me. In fact, I was sooooooooooo excited about reading this "incredible sci-fi" that when I found out that it was a stupid fantasy about rabbits I was super P.O.ed. earlier, though, when I saw the front cover I didn't think it represented the carachters, but something else, like maybe a small detail in the story that diddn't change the plot in any way, like what they hunted. when my brother saw the book I checked out, he said, "I think the book's about rabbits" and I said, "No way, I can see what the plot of the story is, and if they used that same plot with rabbit charachters it would turn out to be a pretty stupid book." Later on, when I finally got to reading the book, both of us turned out to be right.
