#1) People need to obey the IMC ToS and Site rules. This will NOT be bent! #2) No flaming, baiting or rude behavior. This should be a given. If you can not respect other staff, other chatters, plotlines and pictures then your presence will be terminated. #3) No advertising for other chat rooms. Having "Host of ____" in your nonbold tag would not be a violation. However, coming into the room and saying, "Come chat in ___ we're a cool room" or having such comment in your tag is. #4) Respect the staff and don't argue with ST/Staff rulings in the middle of play. Rules lawyering is not the name of the game. If you have a problem, appeal to the host or a Staff member. Most Staff/St's have no problem with people objecting to something they do if they do it in private, respectful manner and it doesn't distract from the gameplay. It is left up to the ST/Staff member to say rather they want to be bothered or not. A Staff/ST's ruling is final. If you feel you need to further object to the ruling in question please feel free to email the host of the room. #5) No bashing other rooms, it's just juvenile antics. #6) OOC dialog should be done with the use of double brackets to avoid confusing other chatters. Every room has a ooc brackets feature. This should be used at all times when posting ooc. |

See system page for a more in depth look on corresponding system. |

Character Kills are Legal. Unapproved characters can't kill approved ones or make a lasting impact on any storyline. Zippy kills? Let's hope that someone saves the scene! If there is a ST around they can say rather it was a zippy kill or not. Unless you're a murderer who doesn't have a reason. But that should be included in character history upon sending in the app for it. A playing character should have a good reason to kill off another playing charcater not just "I don't like the C so I had ___ kill it." Your character needs a legit reason to kill off another character. Unless it's a freak out--a frenzy by a changer or a vamp or something. Death is a fact of life and unlife. And YES, Supernaturals can die too. If you don't want a character to die then watch how you play it! |

Role playing sex scenes:

#1) To keep level of anger in the room to a reasonable low. Meaning: Mediate when needed but don't tell people they can't discuss something at a semi-heated level. When it starts to get into a heated discussion that's when it's a staff member's duty to step in. #2) If you are banned from Gaylesburg for any reason the Staff of the room have 24 hours to send you an email stating why you were banned and when it will be lifted. If you are banned from Gaylesburg and Staff does not notify you within 24 hours as to why there was a banned you account will be reinstated within the room. Proper notice of suspension/banning is also a chatters right. |
|
#1) You maintain your freedom of speech while in the room. However, if you are being disruptive then you might be asked to either halt the conversation or take it to PM's. If you do not do this you will be warned that if you continue in such a manner, you will be banned/suspended. If you continue, you are banned/suspended, and you are sent an e-mail right after the fact. |
