Another one of my, "favorite herbs." The medicinal parts of this herb are, to my knowledge, the flowers and leaves. Although I believe that the root is a powerful part of any plant. According to old herbals just the smell of the flowers will calm the nerves and arouse erotic interests. (Lets see if the people at Yahoo "Filter this one". LOL) Medicinally other than in India, where it is used as a cure for snake bite, the herb is what is called a "calmative" or "antispasmatic". Meaning that whether it is used in tea, incense or in oil, (Or salves and baths for that matter.) It has a calming effect on the body. Kabbalisticly and magickly, the uses of this herb are far more reaching. For example it may be used (Usually in incense.) for invoking or evoking any being that is associated with the moon. (Grinding the flower or leaves into a fine powder first, as this releases the energy of the plant.) The herb vibrates at the same "level" as the moon, and is associated with the number nine.....
