To meet any deities or spirits, just call to them, and talk to them. Obtain a feel for their personalities, and how they appear to you (not necessarily how they are to anyone else, but to you, personally); work with meeting one at a time, or per day, as you may choose to work with a pantheon, or group of gods, from any particular culture(s).

Various pantheons with whom one might choose to work: Celtic, Teutonic, Germanic, Greek, Arthurian, Roman, Egyptian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Chaldean, Oriental, Hindu, Buddhist, Aztec, Incan, Oceanic, Mayan, and Native American deities, and even Catholic Saints, and so on, and also, with angels and Archangels, and human and animal spirit-guides.
