2001 Rock Eisteddfod Challenge COPACABANA
Welcome to the Copacabana club - 1949. Meet Lola, a showgirl who loves Tony the barman. A group of gangsters interrupt the music and dancing. Rico fires a single gunshot and the night ends in tragedy. 30 years later, Lola is still wearing her dress and feathers, but the club is now a disco. Lola remembers the love she once had.

Ocean Reef didn't start rehersals straight away, but when they did start they were full on. Here are some pictures of the dancers rehersing. While the dancers were rehersing the backstage crew were hard at work creating the set and costumes.

After months of rehersals it was time for the heats at the Burswood Theatre. As usual the backstage crew were the first on the scene. We kindalooked like the back mafia in our shirts there! :0) Back: Melissa, Justin, Shannon, Josh, Mitchell & Courtney Front: Myself, Nicky, Tara, Helen, Claire, Lauren & Justin

A few snaps from one of our rehersals at the heats. The lighting wasn't the best so unfortunately they aren't great shots, but they give you an idea of our show. Shame that the dancers weren't in costume.
