Greydon Clark's The Bad Bunch:

Long Before Johnnie Cochrane decided to play the race card -director actor and producer Greydon Clark decided to face the issue head on in what is in my mind one of the worst films of alltime(in othere words I love this film). The Bad Bunch is a story of a returning Viet Nam vet trying to befriend the family of a fallen comrade in arms. The friction starts right away as the theme song to the movie plays "Ni##er Lover" and we see the protagonist going thru the streets of Compton in the early 70's.This film is offensive in it's sterotypes and also it's shabby treatment of women. There are several scenes of gratitous nudity -including an interracial skinny dipping pool party.Veteran character actor Aldo Ray plays the role of Daryl Gates on the beat .If you want to be stuck in the 70's(afros,bellbottoms,etc.)-seek out this hilarious bad movie.

Other films by Greydon clark include: The Uninvited-A goofy bad horror flick-featuring among others George Kennedy.Dark Future-Clark ruins the future in this straight to video chump.MST3K recongnizes lack of talent when they see it and did a version of Greydon's film Angel's Revenge which is now availiable on video-tape everywhere for 19.95$ and Final Justice starring Joe Don Baker. Also Clark did a movie on the Lambada dance craze and Joysticks a film about arcades in the 80's. UPDATE- the 1976 flick Black Shampoo is coming out on DVD with commentary by director Greydon Clark

In the ultimate irony Clark also directed this horrible Skinheads movie in the 80's-features the Rifleman -Chuck Connors. While this movie is not as horrible as the Bad Bunch it is still a must for fans of bad dialogue and horrible cinema.
