Photos of Filignano

Here are some photos that I took in Filignano in July 1998, while there on holiday.

Filignano's church with a Latin plaque dating from 1757 (inside the front door-way).

My brother Rudolf, his wife Kimi, and I; at Filignano's main piazza beside the name of Borgata Valerio. Borgata Valerio (borgata is Italian for hamlet) is where our great-grandfather was born. The names of surrounding hamlets are engraved into the stones of the piazza, with "Filignano" in the centre.
