Tommy's Secret Fashion Show!

This is my first "little black dress." Mom made a joke about it one day when she stuck it in my closet. "All girls have to have a little black dress," she teased. "That's one of the rules."

I acted like I didn't know what she was talking about, but I knew better. And she knew better, too.

To make a long story short, it was about, oh, an hour from the time my mom put this in my closet to when I got the chance to try it on. It would have been sooner but I had to eat supper and finish my homework first. The shoes came from … you know, I don't remember where the shoes came from. They just showed up when the dress did. I wonder if they used to be my mom's …?

Anyway, the dress doesn't look too bad, does it? Wait until you see what happens when I fix myself up some. I even surprised myself!
