Scouting with Tommy

In case you're wondering who's scout uniform this is, it belonged to my cousin Shelly, my Aunt Betty's daughter. Shelly and Aunt Betty brought a bunch of their old clothes and stuff over last summer for a yard sale. We never got around to having the sale for some reason, so Mom put everything in the extra bedroom.

Come to think of it, that was right after my mom caught me going through her things. Funny, she fussed and yelled a lot, but she never told me not to dress up again. In fact, she said if I was going to keep playing dressup I'd have to get some things of my own and leave hers alone. I wonder if that's why we're keeping all of Shelly and Aunt Betty's things …?

Anyway, I found this neat scout uniform a while back. It is so cool, it even has a beret and everything. Sometimes I put it on and pretend I'm on a secret mission to infiltrate the girl scouts. Pretty goofy, huh? Well, maybe so, but it's a lotta fun, too.
