OUCH!!!

These darned rollers … I HATE it when she pulls them tight like this. My hair’s shorter than she thinks, and I always end up crying ‘cause she yanks on it so hard. I can’t believe girls actually like doing this kind of stuff. I mean, sure, it makes you look kinda pretty, I guess, but it’s awful boring!

Sometimes I have to wear curlers all day long … it just depends on what kind of mood my mom is in. One time she grounded me for the whole weekend and I had to wear curlers from Friday night until Sunday morning. By the time she took them out my hair was a mess of curls and had to be brushed extra hard to get them to loosen up.

Stupid hair! If I had my way I’d cut it all off … just like Dad’s!
