Well, I’m in trouble … again! Mom’s pretty upset ‘cause I didn’t come in before dark last night. I was out setting off firecrackers with Steve Mitchell and his older brother. Now my mom says I have to spend the whole weekend in some stupid dress so I won’t go running off with my friends.

Great. Just what I wanted … two whole days playing with panties and dolls. What ten year old boy wouldn't want a weekend like that?
