HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED FOR A GREAT PUBIC AREA SHAVE

Use your clippers or sissors to cut the hair as close to the skin as possible. Get in the shower or tub and allow your hair to soak a good 20 minutes. This softens the hair and skin. Then apply a liberal amount of baby oil (air shave gel) all over the general pubic area. Using your razor (never use a disposible razor) start at the TOP and work your way down. Shave in the direction of the hair. Rinse razor after every two or three stokes. Be careful not to over-do-it the first few times. Over time it will become easier and closer.
(while STILL in the shower or tub)To make your skin down there feel really soft and sexy, get a container of St. Ives Apricot Scrub and use it all over your body's delicate area. Ater you are all rinsed off, while your skin is still slightly damp, use Neutrogena Body Oil all over. Do not dry off further or dress until your skin has air-dried. This takes a bit of time and effort, but it is beyond worthwhile for a special night. Your skin will feel as smooth and soft as satin.
OR
Use regular old Witch Hazel and Talcum Powder right after shaving. It closes the pores and makes the area silky soft.
OR
If you want, use Avon Maximum Moisture to moisterize the area. This is the best non-greasy moisturizer we have ever used....it really hydrates, and it is truly lasting.
If you have problems with red bumps and ingrowns, try using Tend Skin. It's a great product.
Shave EVERYDAY....at first your skin might become sensitive for a few days...but after a week or so....your skin will adapt and clear-up. Stick with it. We all go through this....and LOVE the results!!!!
JUST A SIDE NOTE:
If you are of African, Spanish or Italian descent, you may not get a super close shave. Reason being that your hair shaft is very thick and curly. Even after an extremely close shave, you may tend to still see hair under the skin surface. But you are also prime candidates for laser or electrolisis permanent hair removal. The ultimate in being smooth.

REMEBER!!!!!!
First, post shave treatment falls involves three things:
1) Exfoliation. Comercial exfoliants work well, so does a washcloth. The idea is to get rid of skin cells so they can't clog the open pores, and follicles. simple enough.
2) Astringents. Kill bacteria, and tighten the skin. Tight skin means closed pores, and straighter hair growth. Anything that kills bacteria reduces the risk of infections, etc. In this category we have alcohol, and witchhazel. It should be noted that modern witchhazel uses alcohol as it's astringent, classic witchhazel made use of the herb. To make your own old-fashioned witchhazel boil one teaspoon of the dried herb in a cup of water to make a "tea". Strin the herb out when finished.
3) Anti-inflamatories. Include hydrosortisone, and aspirin. The very expensive tendskin is just aspirin suspened in alcohol. You could make that yourself, but hydrocortisone should work better.
