Well I do know her. I am from america and don't see why she is that big...
anyway. My mom is friends with Tessa for 30 years. She lives her on Martha's
Vineyard. Tessa has three childern. Luke, Clover and Sophie. Sophie used to
babysitt Clover and I. And she came down for easter. But why is Sophie so
famous. I was trying to find out and I saw your page.

Well, you see Sophie is a fashion model nowadays and she is very well known in the UK.There are pictures of hers in newspapers almost every day,and she is a recognized London celebrity.

I first saw her on the cover of magazine here in Greece back in the summer of 1997, and I immediately felt captivated by the look in her eyes. I searched the Net for this uprising model called Sophie Dahl, but to my
surprise there were no sites, except a few words from the British Vogue. That's when I decided to create a site dedicated to her and at first I scanned only the few photos from that greek magazine (the photos exist today
on the site). Last year I lived in London, but I didn't manage to meet her...

What boosted Sophie's carreer was a turn of the fashion industry against the anorexic-look models and the adoption of full-figured women (called today "plus-models" or "V-models"). As you could see on the site, she has appeared in every major fashion magazine there is...

I think you are awfully lucky to have had many people's dream around the globe as a baby-sitter :>
I would greatly appreciate it if you had any story from back then to share with all the other visitors of the site... What do you think?

I don't know there are a lot of them. Don't quote me for saying this but
untill Sophie was about 17 or 18. She was kind of a Nerd. But now look at
her. I'v never heard she was a super-model untill Tessa(her mom) mentioned
her in the paper about her impostering a boyfriend. But I didn't wan't to
say anything to be rude so I investigated. And found your site. She is
pretty hot though. But I'll think of a story.

I mean, just by looking at her pictures it's almost impossible to believe
