Jefferson Davis and Ezekiel

This is something that you may not know;
As it happened many moons ago.
Into this family, two sons were born;
But what to call them...the decision was torn.

Jefferson Davis was one potential candidate;
And Ezekiel was another name that fit.
Publicly, these names were never used;
"They just would not work," the mother accused.

But now I ask you, do these "sons" exist;
Or are they gone, like the morning mist?
Who are theses sons? Where do they live?
Are they stout in their ways?  Or do they give?

Whatever the answers, one must know;
That all of this happened, many moons ago.
But if you happen to find yourself at;
This particular house on the night of Sat.

And two strangers walk in, carrying many bags;
Relax...it might be these sons...two proud Texas Ags.
