Tehilla finally graduated from Michlalah in 5764/2004. David, Miriam, and Devorah came to watch, and Yoni came to watch and to take pictures. It was a major event, since it took her so long to get out of the institution. She did have a very positive experience there, but enough is enough.
She received a package of certificates, including a letter certifying that she had completed the Translation sequence. David was one of her teachers for that course sequence, as well as for her required computer course.
Yoni was on edge most of the time. He had committed himself to work in Brooklyn Bakery starting at 6:00 PM. That should not have been a problem, since the ceremony was scheduled to start at 3 in the afternoon. As the time dragged on, however, he was more and more nervous.
The ceremony was very pleasant, but it had none of the usual cap-and-gown formality with a Pomp and Circumstance background. The young women were asked to come early for rehearsals, but there were none. It was the usual laid-back, informal, Israeli atmosphere.
