MEMORIAL RE-DEDICATION

Grand Rapids, Michigan

October 9, 2002

On May 10, 1912, the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution requested the City of Grand Rapids to provide $100 for the purpose of creating a memorial boulder on the grounds of Camps Kellogg and Lee.  During the Civil War, these Camps were used to train the 6th, 7th and 10th Michigan Cavalry regiments as well as the 13th Michigan Light Artillery, Co. K.
