CHARLES E. BELKNAP STATUE

REDEDICATION

Grand Rapids, MI

September 8, 2001

Originally dedicated in 1931, this statue (located south of Leonard St. off Plainfield Ave. at the Griff Ice Arena/Belknap Park) pays tribute to a man who served in the Civil War as a Captain in the 21st Michigan Infantry.  Charles E. Belknap was involved in many activities and organizations throughout the Grand Rapids community.
