For Frankfurt Munich & Luxembourg, coming North up the E411:-

Ø       Exit right off E411 onto Brussels Ring going anti-clockwise towards Zaventem Airport, Antwerp etc;

Ø       Almost immediately, take the next Ring Exit 1 and turn right onto the N3 towards Tervuren and/or Leuven:

For Frankfurt & Munich if coming (via Cologne/Aachen) West on E40:-

Ø       Exit left onto Brussels Ring going clockwise towards Luxembourg/Waterloo etc;

For the Hague, coming South on the E19:-

Ø       Exit left onto Brussels Ring East going clockwise towards Zaventem Airport/Luxembourg/Waterloo etc;

DIRECTIONS

(am presuming all will have a map of Brux)

From Airport to Hotels:

Ø       Train to Gare Centrale;

Ø       Change to Metro Line 1a (terminus Hermann-Debroux) or 1b (terminus Stockel);

Ø       Metro Station Maelbeek for the Europa InterContinental (directly above)

Ø       Metro Station Schuman for Euroflat (cross over within station);

Ø       Metro Station Merode for the Derby on Av de Tervuren (again cross before exiting);

From Luxembourg train to hotels:

Ø       Get off at Schuman Station;

Ø       For Hotel EuroFlat, get out there;

Ø       For Hotel Derby switch to Metro Line 1a or 1b (dir H-Deb or Stokel) to Merode (first stop).

From wherever to the Centre Sportif  Hostel:

Ø       Take Metro Line 1a (terminus Hermann-Debroux);

Ø       Get out at H-Deb Station (last stop)

Ø       Walk for about 10 minutes making sure the raised motorway is on your left;

Ø       You'll see Centre Sportif on your right past a few garages.

Public transport from all points to British School of Brussels (BSB):

Ø       Go to Montgomery Metro Station (following Line 1b terminus Stockel);

Ø       Switch from Metro to No 44 Tram;

Ø       Stay on Tram till the last stop;

Ø       Ask  the Tram driver to point you towards the African Museum (5 minutes walk);

Ø       Directly opposite Museum is a big concrete Elephant;

Ø       Pitches a few hundred metres behind there (at roundabout veer left & then right).

Cars etc between Hotels & BSB:

Ø       Ask at hotels how to get onto the Avenue de Tervuren dual carriageway;

Ø       Follow that straight out crossing straight over the Ring (where Av de T becomes the N3);

Ø       You already have directions from that point, the Ring/N3 junction, to the BSB & pitches;

Ø       Going back, for Hotel Derby, exit Av de T onto Montgomery Roundabout (not under), go straight through but keep on the inside right road & the Hotel is a few hundred metres down there;

Ø       For other Hotels, continue into Montgomery tunnel and thru 2 more longer tunnels after that;

Ø       For EuroFlat Hotel:-

-     keep extreme right lane preparing to exit right immediately after the second long tunnel

-     cross  several lanes (Sat traffic is light) & right onto Rue de Taciturne (immediately past large building); &

-     loop around Square Marie Louise, Rue Palmerstown & Square Ambiorix onto Boulevard Charlemagne;

If traffic causes you to miss Rue de Taciturne, continue down right hand lane of big wide Rue de la Loi, take first right exit onto Rue de Spa, another right back Rue Joseph II, left at  Rue Livingstone & the 2nd right is Sq Marie Louise again (NOTE that Livingstone/Joseph II junction is where The Wild Geese Bar is);

Ø       For Europa InterContinental, come out of 2nd long tunnel, keep to extreme left lane and it's just a 200 metres, can’t miss it, first on left.
