We began this job with grade work & excavation as we deemed necessary through thorough ground raise and drop detection with a transit.  This determined the equipment work that would need to be done to complete this job properly.  Once the bulldozer was done with the actual finish grade, drainage installation began.  The builder on this property had left the new owners with many ponding problems throughout the area, along with extensive wash outs.
Once the grade was set, the next task at hand was the coordination and installation of their new irrigation system.  On this job we brought in the company that does the major sprinkler system installs that we are contracted to do.  Here, we worked hand and hand with them on the under ground portion of this job.  Besides the re-grading that was done, we had also installed 6" drainage pipes on all of the eaves troughs to quickly whisk the water to a "safe" part of the yard, and prevent future erosion.  Soon after, the landscape installation began.  This included the addition of Cobra "hi test" plastic edging, Dewitt "pro 5" landscape screen & weed barrier, approximately 30 yards of 6a washed stone, shrubbery & retaining wall installation.
The plantings included in this design were agreed upon by our landscape designer and the home owners to come up with the optical delight which was achieved upon completion.  These included 1 "White Sargentii" Crab Apple tree, 5 "Dwarf" Burning bush, 6 "Blue Rug" Juniper, 4 "Blue Chip" Juniper, 7 "Gold mound" Spirea, 2 "Dwarf" Alberta Spruce, 4 "Hicksi" Yew, 1 "Pink" Rhododendron, 1 "Pink" Potentilla, 1 "Weeping double Pink" Cherry tree, 1 "Red" Weigela, 1 "White" Dogwood, 2 "Pamps" Grass and creeping red thyme that was used as ground cover in a small island portion at the north end of the sidewalk near the driveway.
Retaining wall installation was completed in a relatively short period of time.  There were to be walls erected at two locations (under the deck approximately 15' long and along north side of driveway approximately 65' long).  The materials that were used here were Keystone's "garden wall" block in the shade of rose to accent the color of the brick on the house.
The lawn installation, which began shortly after the landscaping was complete, involved the preparation and seeding of approximately 22,915 square feet of new lawn, which included rototilling, bobcat loader work with a landscape rake (rock hound), hauling away debris (weeds, rocks, etc.), manual labor, premium grass seed, green starter fertilizer & ground lime.

Here's what our happy new clients had to say upon the completion of their lovely new property:
