Immaculata High School was designated as a Chicago landmark on July 27, 1983. Visit the City of Chicago site for other landmarks and about Immaculata's architect Barry Byrne who began his career with Frank Lloyd Wright. Immaculata High School was built in 1922. In 1955-56 additions were made and a convent was also added in 1954-55.
