This then allowed follow up searches, knowing birthplace etc, which yielded the following in Radford Parish Records:
Frederick Tootell married Mary Burton at St Mary’s - 23 May 1819.
Frederick, son of John & Elizabeth Tootell baptised Radford 10 Sep.- 1798
This is where the trail goes somewhat cold and convoluted. No
John and Elizabeth were married in Radford and no other Tootell was baptised
there.
