This 40 m hull was also delivered for Aas Mek. Verksted in Norway for further outfitting.
The type of vessel is a well boat, which means a ship for transport of living fish in tanks. The vessel have a tank volume of about 650 m3, so it is one of the biggest of that kind in Norway.
The production time of the hull was optimised to reduce the time from signing contract till delivery.
The hull is made of steel. The construction of the hull took place in the buildings of the former Johs. Kristensen Skibsbyggeri, which since 1995 have been a part of the A/S Hvide Sande Skibs- & Baadebyggeri.
The hull was towed from Hvide Sande to the yard in Norway by one of the tugs from Hanstholm Towing Company.
