MS "Maagen" from Silkeborg, Denmark.
This is a 24 m passengercraft specially designed for the service on the Silkeborg Lakes, which is a closed inshore lake system. The vessel have a lower and an upper deck, but the total height above waterline was limited by a railway bridge, which the vessel have to pass under several times a day.
The Silkeborg Lakes are considered as rather protected waters, but the vessel tasted the rough waves on the North Sea, while it for own engine went from Hvide Sande to Horsens on the east coast, from where it was placed on a low bed trailer for the final transport to Silkeborg.
The owner in Silkeborg have several other passenger crafts in the service on the lakes among them the old paddle wheeler "Hjejlen" built in 1861, but still active.
