MS "Helene" from Aaroesund in Denmark.
This is a 20 m passengercraft specially designed for the tourist service out of Haderslev Fjord on the east coast of Jutland. This design includes a style, which gives the impression of older times
The vessel is approved by Danish Maritime Authority to 98 passengers on two decks.
Skipper on the vessel is Mr. Hans Jacobsen, a retired fishing skipper from Esbjerg, former owner of trawler "Rockall" and trawler "Teide".
MS "Svanen" from Hobro in Denmark is a sister to this ship.

The hull is made of steel. The construction of the hull took place in the buildings of the former Johs. Kristensen Skibsbyggeri, (which since 1995 have been a part of the A/S Hvide Sande Skibs- & Baadebyggeri), from where the hull was launched temporary.
Afterwards the hull was taken on land again and replaced inside another hall for outfitting and mounting of the aluminium superstructure etc.
