Summer Day Camp 2009
Our Summer Camp program will give your child (ages 5-12) the opportunity to enjoy a summer outdoors while participating in a variety of activities.
The camp will run Jun 29 to Sep 4/09 (10 weekly sessions) from 9:00am - 4:30pm daily in Brooklin Memorial Park (next to the arena). After hours supervision is available for an extra fee. Download the 2009 Registration Form (PDF file 1.8MB)
Activities may include:
- Soft Sports: soccer, baseball, basketball, frisbee, tennis
- Games: cards, board games, relays and races
- Exploring Nature: hikes, river walks, observation tours
- Creative Activity: play acting, singing, crafts, etc.
Program will be adapted each week to meet the needs of the youth participants.
Rain days will be held at Luther Vipond Memorial Arena. Youth must provide their own bag lunch and snacks. Please contact Mary Cooper, Registrar, for more information at 905 922-1998 or email: [email protected].

CIT Counsellor in Training Program 2009
This program is specifically designed for youth aged 14 & 15 interested in seeking future work as a camp counsellor. The program has been developed over a 4 year period and will run one three-week session this summer.
The sessions will run Jul 6-Jul 24/08 and Aug 4-Aug 22/08 from 9:00am - 4:30pm daily in Brooklin Memorial Park (next to the arena). The fee for 3 weeks is $325 and include uniform t-shirt and participation in Wednesday outings. A select number of successful candidates will be invited to continue volunteering at no extra cost.
