- CORNMEAL
- SMALL BOWLS FOOS
- COLORING OR POWDWERED TEMERA PAINT
- PAPER OR CARDBOARD
- GLUE
- SPOON
- 1. Pour some cornmeal into several small bowls. Sprinkle a few drops of food coloring over the cornmeal -- using different colors for each dish -- and mash the mixtures with a spoon until all the meal is colored. Powered tempera paint will also color the cornmeal.
- 2. Draw a design on a piece of paper or cardboard.
- 3. Spread glue on the lines of the design, one line at a time. Sprinkle different colors of cornmeal mixture over the glue. Do not worry about getting off of the line. Only the mixture that falls on the glue will stick.
- 4. Let the glue dry. Gently shake off the loose cornmeal.
