Salt Painting

- Liquid Starch
- Paper plate, matt board, or cardboard
- Water
- Tempura or foodcoloring
- Brushes
- Salt
- 1. Mix: 1/8 cup liquid starch,
- 1/8 cup water,
- and 1 tablespoon tempura
- or 2 squirts of food coloring,
- plus 1/2 cup of table salt.
- 2. Apply mixture to background with a brush.
- 3. Keep stirring mixture.
- 4. Painting will crystalize as it dries.
