President’s Message
February 2002
Welcome back from the holidays! Traditionally, the new year is when we are feeling recommitted to improving ourselves, and typically we make several resolutions for the upcoming year. In that spirit, I hope each of you will resolve to become more active in the IMA. You can do this in several ways: volunteer for a specific project, volunteer for a board position, help us find speakers on topics that you are interested in, or volunteer to speak to the group at a lunch meeting. Even something as simple as resolving to attend more meetings, and bring a friend, is a step towards making our chapter a more dynamic organization. I hope you’ll consider adding IMA to your resolutions for 2002.
I want to thank Janet Omundson, Ed Pacey, Denise Pacillas, for the challenging job they had putting together a slate of officers for the 2002 – 2003 board. I also want to thank everyone who accepted a nomination for a board position. You really help make a difference. Please look over the slate, which can be found elsewhere in the newsletter. If you would like to nominate yourself for one of these positions, please feel free to do so by contacting Janet Omundson at [email protected]. Voting will take place at the February meeting. I hope to see you there on Tuesday, February 19th, at the El Paso Club.
