One piece unit combining evaporator, condenser and standby compressor. System is precharged with refrigerant (MP66, MP39, HP62 or 134A)

940 M, L Over the road only

940 ME, LE Over the road & electric standby

940 L, LE Automatic/manual hot gas defrost initiated by an air switch

940 M, ME Automatic air cycle defrost initiated by a temperature control

Standard Equipment

Compressor in Transit

Swash plate 6 cylinder, 9.3 cubic inches displacement, vehicle engine mounted, belt driven.

Compressor Electric Standby

Swash plate 6 cylinder, 9.3 cubic inches displacement, nose mounted, belt driven by A/C electric motor

Standby Operation

3 HP electric motor 230 volts single phase belt drive the compressor

Fan Motors

Condenser 3 motors (2000 rpm) and evaporator 3 motors (2000 rpm) 12 volts D/C totally enclosed permanent magnet motors

Fan Blades

Condenser (3 blades 10") and evaporator (3 blades 10")

Protective Devices

High and low pressure control (commercial adjustable type), fused transformer/choke rectifier system. Standby motor with external manual reset and a circuit breaker on the over-the-road electrical system.

Electrical

• On the over-the-road, the 12 volts D/C is supplied by the vehicle battery system. NOTE: Vehicle must be equipped with a minimum 75 amps electrical charging system.



• On the standby, power is supplied by a 230 or 115 volts A/C source with a minimum 20 amps circuit/breaker. The 12 volts D/C power is supplied by a transformer/choke rectifier system.

Standby: 15 amps 115 volts AC 1 HP

16 amps 230 volts AC 2 HP
