Subject: Trip to Marikina
Sonny! As per your request, this account for you to be able to
match the pictures that
you received.

Benjie and I arrived at Dencio's in Katipunan just before three pm.
Around 3:15 Boo
came in his BMW walking directly toward us but looking around for any
sign of prepian
specimen. Apparently, he didn't see me waving. Maybe,
Jerry could direct him to a
good eye doctor :-) (Jerry! that's what you get for missing too
much of our reunions
<LOL>.
Anyway, Jess in shorts came in soon after. A few more minutes
and Ray came with his
driver who brought his (driver's) own 6-cylinder Trooper and wearing
a "Roots"cap to
cover for his deficiencies in the upper (hair)roots department :-)
Yes, it is the same
Roots cap that he bought in Canada. and I suspect that he hasn't
taken if off yet.
While Jess was telling us that EQ had won this Trooper by getting a
hole in one
somewhere. In came, Dewes who maintains that he smokes cigarettes
only and not chains.
We waited until five pm for Guilly, who, presumably would be with
Lily. But by 5:15 we
couldn't wait any longer. Boo had to leave for home. Ray
had a 7pm wedding to attend
to. And off we (minus Boo) went to visit Ed in Marikina.
Finally with very little miscues our convoy got to find Ed's place.
Arlette said Ed had
just been malling and then went to the barber's shop and will be back
very soon. Ed
came with his arms bent in a sling. Apparently the doctors took
the veins/arteries from
his arms rather than from his legs. Which is so much the better
for me "cause, I can't
imagine Ed with his foot bent in a sling. Besides the doctors
said that if they took
the blood vessels from his legs, there's a possibility that he'd be
walking with a limp.
But Ray had to leave just before dinner. That meant his driver,
who brought his own
6-cylinder Trooper that he won with a hole-in one, had to leave and
take with him the
digital camera that he brought along even if he had to rely on the
technical
proficiencies of Benjie in learning how to use the camera. and now
he has to rely on
your (Sonny's) technical proficiency in getting the pictures
out to our class. Take
note, Sonny that you have to return the diskette to EQ. Apparently,
EQ doesn't know that
that royal blue diskette is not proprietary to the camera
just because it came with
the camera.
Fortunately for Guilly, who's trying to get the George Aseniero look,
arrived (ALONE!?)
at Ed's place just before Ray and EQ, with his Roots cap and
his camera, left. So he
was still included in the pictures But not for Armi. He
arrived too late for the
picture taking but not too late for the sumptuous delicious dinner
that Arlette had
served us.
For those who really prefers to know more about Ed's symptoms and his
sugery. We'll
have to wait for Ed to do his own
8 part saga on his triple bypass. It started with a simple backache
(apparently
symptomatic of an ongoing heart attack) which has now ballooned
into a major headache
(symptomatic of a purse attack). But with God's help along with
the prepian 65 and
66er's, Ed and Arlette will get thru their crisis.
As a true believer in the power of prayers, I hope that we can
always come together and
pray as one whenever one of ours is in need of prayers.
But before I proceed to my next sermon....
