Subject: annual family trip
After reading
several regular mails, e-mails and documents in
the office, I am usually too tired when I get home and I could not
read my
e-mail at home anymore. But now that I am preparing for my family's
annual
vacation in the USA, I was able to read some of the e-mails at home.
So some
Pep 66 classmates will also be in the US this summer.
Manny Canillas, Jess Lucas and EQ Pablo. I am leaving tomorrow
(March 27)
for San Francisco. I will be in SFO for two days. I will be looking
at a
resort project, near Napa Valley and Sonoma Resort. I'll have
the chance
to savor the famous California wine. March 29, I will be in New
York,
which will be my base while in the USA. I will be staying in
White Plains
NY. I will go to New Jersey on March 30to watch the NBA.
We will be
visiting the Universities in the area of NY (Columbia, NYU, Fordham),
NJ
(Princeton), Philadelphia (Wharton) and Connecticut (Yale) because
my
eldest daughter and son (out of my six children) will be taking up
their
Masters degree. April 8, we will go to Washington DC and will
stay there
for three days. April 11, we will go to Chicago to visit my sister
Rowena
(Prep 65). I recall one of our teachers in Prep, Mrs. Tuano,
is my other
sister's patient. I will try to get in touch with her.
We will visit
University of Chicago and Northwestern University. April 18,
I'll be back
in San Francisco. My telephone no. in New York is 914-761-7587
and the
e-mail address is [email protected] . My no. in Chicago is
630-655-2547
or 847-255-3612 while my e-mail address is [email protected] .
Anyone
who will be in those places on the said dates can get in
touch with me so that we can get together.
Since I
just read all the mails accummulated for several months,
let me send the following messages:
- To Liz
Plana and Hamilton Mangonon - my family's paryers and
condolences
- To EQ
and Ed Umali - Congrats on your fast recovery from your
operation/illness. I also had my operation last September 1999.
- To Manny
- The stock market is not really all that bad. The
speculatives being converted to IT stocks are still doing well.
I guess
all of us are getting old specially when we start
talking of retirement. If EQ has retired, I am also considering
an early
retirement soon.
Regards to all.
