Is there any development on the planned '66 reunion in December
of this
year? Could we call a meeting to discuss some details and get the
program
going. We need to up-date everybody specially those abroad so they
could
 finalize their schedules. Regards, Ed

Hi, Ed. I agree. We should have  a sense of direction at this point.
I have
been working on a time frame where I'll be spending most of December
2000 in
the Phillipines. It sounds like we do not have anything definite yet?
Can anyone update us on this?
 Regards to all.

YES!! we do have to call a meeting.

Neph is calling for a Dec. 16 reunion in San Francisco (???) That's
better
than having none here.

But I'll be leaving Feb 3. Bahala na, muna, kayo.  I suggest you
call EQ.

Hi Reno!!

Ed, Liz and EQ, had just refreshed my memory:
We had planned to reserve the Subic Yacht Club for the weekend of Dec
16 and 17.
Committees had been formed but we need your (66ers abroad) input to
finalize the plan.

Can you start a phone brigade on your continent.
Ask who can attend and what they want to do and see to make it truly
memorable

Call Larry Pay and Bob Sayson to see the tentative dates as to when
they (Flora too) can make it.
Butch can call the Bay Area boys to get their input
and Perry can get the Southern Californians'.
Edna can call Inday who can call Susan and Ernie.

I'll be there Feb so I can just call you all to find out, what you got.

OK. will get that going, then. I'm the only one in Canada, but not a
problem.  Basically, we ALL have to keep in touch from now on to build
up
the momentum.  I can start by initiating  a "roll call" i.e, who are
going
for sure, "dont know" , " maybe", :"my cat died" ???
Regards to all.
ED: Thanks for clarifying that. Can I get things rolling by asking how
much
are the accommodations in that area for a decent place or hotel? Is
there a
golf course nearby?
See ya all soon.
MANNY: Call me at home when you get to California
Home-(604) 708-6454  Cell No: (604) 837-1209 with voice mail if you
dont get
me live, OK?

Subject: Re: Status of the Grand Reunion

to whoever is keeping score (neph, are you
there?), i'm coming. hmmm, let me re-phrase that
- i'll be there.

if i remember correctly, we're to stay at the
subic yatch club, cause it's not just a yatch
club, it's a real honest-to-goodness 5-star
hotel. supposedly the best yatch club in the
asean region. but there are other places to stay
in. the white rock resort, about 10 - 15 mins
drive from the yatch club. plus a lot of other
resorts and hotels in the area accommodations to
flea-bitten dives
patronized by drunken sailors when the kanos were
still in 'gapo.

Good info, Benjie.  I'll do some more research thru the 'net to check
what
other activities are available. My 17 year old daughter would like to
join
me, so, I have to hire some bodyguards (just kidding).  Wanna see if
there's
places for  teen ager to safely hangout without Dad tagging along.
Benjie,
maybe you'd know?    Also, I need to know if there's a golf course in
the
area.
Thanks and kamusta na lang sa lahat.
