A brief history

After collecting hundreds of technical papers and books concerning a wide spread of subjects related to equipment design, construction techniques, materials and welding procedures for petrochemical and fine chemistry plants, I realized that, no matter how hard I would try to study them, I could never read all of those compiled papers in order to keep me up with the state of art of process equipment design technology. Sometimes, on a professional day-a-day routine, we need some kind of information out of our previous knowledge or our team or also within the available technical literature.
So thinking, I decided to launch this free of charge site, which could be a valuable tool for all of us that are looking for substantial information and are tired of surfing and searching on the Internet environment, without concrete results.
The basic idea here is: if you have or know any technical papers or Internet links about mechanical engineering and want to share it with another people, please, contact me by e-mail and, if you like, you could send me your technical contribution and I will make it available for all (see below "How to Participate").
This site is based on the well known concept that, more important than to store physically the information, the professional needs to reach it fast and to use it with competence.
This site aims to be a place that shows and shares technical questions, like a "technical forum" or something like that.
