This is the javanese alphabet, from Java language, one of local languages used by Javanese tribe, Indonesia, long before Sun Microsystem invented "Java language"  for computer programing.

This alphabet is no longer used in daily writing , since Bahasa Indonesia is an official language and use Latin alphabet to express it in writing. However, still many javanese speaking java language in daily conversation.

Old manuscripts concerning javanese culture are written using this alphabet as found at museum in Yogyakarta and Surakarta, Central Java.
