[ LANG KUAN CO., LTD. - COMPANY HISTORY ]

1973

When facing the "Petroleum Crisis" and economic sluggish, Mr. Hsu, the founder of Lang Kuan, created his business only with with capital NTD 3000, and it became his first career - Lang Kuan Enterprises. By inlaying one red bean (seeds of aburs precatoriuys) on the bookcase, contrusted the bookcase saling miracle in Taiwan.

1975

Established small scale processing factory with only some simple papercut machines, punch equipments and only 10 employees.

1978

Established factory in An-Ping Industrial Area in Tainan, principals are more than 17000 Square feets. Increased exporting department, expended oversea business; created "stationery exporting" miracle records in Taiwan history.

1980

Recommending note book from Europe and America and integrating traditional note book, designed useful diary / agenda books for businessmen, and such books became a necessarity in office.

1982

To meet customers' demand, Lang Kuan developed high quality P.U. Stationery products. Developed fancy stationery with the brand name "Pretty Angel".

1984

Started to produce stationery with the brand name "KENY".

1985

When Lang Kuan Co., Ltd. was in rapid advances, the paper industry kingdom "YFY Group" (Yung Foong Yu Group) invested in Lang Kuan. Thus Lang Kuan was became as one of the YFY group's related organizations. Started to produce Organizers (System Note).

1986

Obtained stationery copyright from the Walt Disney company.

1987

Obtained Snoopy stationery copyright from U.F.S. (United Feature Syndicate Inc. Ltd)

1988

Lang Kuan won "Good Design Award" from ROC government.

1989

Won the awards of "Good Original Brand Prize" for its KENY line of stationery and Organizers from China External Trade Development Council.

1990

Created "universal punch", which fits for any different kind of mechanisms. The made Lang Kuan win "Good Products Award" in Taiwan.

1991

KENY Orgainzers won the "The Good Design Award" from CETRA of ROC government, for its Organizer products.

1993

KENY Organizers won the "It's very well Made In Taiwan" award from ROC government for its Organizer products; it is the symble and the proof of Excellence quality.

1995

After several years of investigation and set up, new factory, Shanghai KENY Stationery Co., Ltd. locates in Shanghai, China had started her mass production in order to take the increasing volume orders form foreign countries.
