If you're looking for an effective way to promote your
services and products online, and build traffic to your
website, try visiting some discussion forums and getting
involved in the conversation.

You can ask a question, post a reply, or make a comment -
just don't post an ad! Discussion forums are NOT the
appropriate place for blatant advertising, and doing such
only marks you as a novice, or worse, a SPAMMER.

If you don't understand the rules, "lurk" for awhile before
posting. Just hang out and see how others do it. If you plan
to use discussion forums as a marketing tool, you must
definitely be on your best behavior when posting. Remember
what your mother told you: "If you can't say something nice,
keep your big mouth shut." No insults, no snide remarks, no
complaints about other people's posts, and again, NO ads.

learning, and helping others in the process.
