Basic form to organize your previous job history (Use one or more forms for each year)
This Year
-_________Dates Employed________________________________________
(If you were promoted or held more than one title in the past year, use separate form for each)
Responsibilities
The object here is to become as familiar with as many of your skills and abilities as possible. This will help prepare you for answering interview questions. Don't limit yourself to just the responsibilities that were included in your job description, though that is a good starting point. (If it was your responsibility to count the paper clips, you were 'maintaining office supply inventory') Also, don't limit your self to just 10 responsibilities. The greater the list you are able to compile here, the more effective your resume will be as you begin to choose what will be included from this list.
Accomplishments
Accomplishments should be written in the format "A A B" or Assignment(or recognized opportunity to contribute) --- Action taken --- Benefit to the company. Action Words (ie words ending in ed) should be used in the Benefit section of your accomplishment. For Example:
Action Verbs Go To Action Verb List
Return>Go Back To 'Get A Job'
