Empire
(Part 3: Siege)
Escaped the drenching infinite abyss
My life hung by a single thread
Fallen from glorious imperial bliss
I rampantly charge toward the fears I dread
Regrouping my forces to begin the siege
Onward crusade to reclaim my throne
Outnumbered but strong, we start the siege
Vengeance has gripped me to the bone
My archers start reigning hellish fire
The catapults launch their deadly load
But my old castle, stronger and higher
The walls remained, no weakness showed
My cavalry rampantly charges forth
The blood spills on the field like wine
The corpses mount, both man and horse
Though losses are heavy, the throne will be mine
Though vastly outnumbered, we enter the gates
With our remaining strength, we slay the fiends
Celebration as I've tempted the fates
I've fought so long, I kiss my queen
