Rain
Docile rain, it rains some more
endless clouds beyond the shore
trumpeting emotion's call
one is quiet, numb is all
rain fall

The gentle flow of downward grace
a constant run of nature's haste
I sit and ponder once again
The bounty which the heaven's send
And pretend...

That one floats down a pebble's size
fast descent in silent guise
One is small, a single strand
made upon God's own hand
His plan

Echoes slowly past the wind
and clouds and dust, and birds which rend
The heaven's theirs, but down they send
H2O to mortal land
One's end

To merge into the endless sea
And calm the earthly beasts of all
The final flow of the raining shawl
Join into eternity
And see...

What was always meant to be
