Impatient, my unnerving end
the injustice betrayed upon my soul.
waiting, jittery, anticipation in mind,
the sense of justice run foul.

Stranded, lost, time running out,
Hunting, pursuing my glimpse of escape.
Lost the battle, preparing anew,
torturous outrage beginning to brew.

Craving freedom, pursuing happiness,
striving for justice to work at last
In this hour of decision, future at hand
Body, buried beneath the sand.
